Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and HIGHLY organized individual to join our team as a Safety coordinator & Scale Operator. This role offers full time hours from Monday/Tuesday to Saturday. Additionally, you must be available to work 2 Saturdays a month (no long weekends) in order to run the scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain our up-to-date, organized safety program
• Assist supervisor in administrative tasks
• Operate the truck scale on Saturdays
• Answer phones
• Process truck tickets
• Coordinate with dispatch

Compensation:

• Wage: Depending on experience

Requirements:

• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Some experience in the safety industry, or an interest.
• Strong reading and writing skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a sometimes fast paced environment
• AWESOME ,but not required: Experience in aggregate, trucking, or equipment operation
